OMT CEO John Vito d’Antonio-Bertagnolli and CSO Dr. Tara Alvarez, Ph.D., was awarded a $3,000 I-Corps mini-grant from NJIT’s local I-Corps site. I-Corps Sites programs offer specialized training and mini-grants to teams with an interest in exploring the commercial viability of their ideas for products and businesses that are based on their own inventions. John Vito serves as Entrepreneurial Lead on the project, during which he will complete at least two dozen customer interviews. The team hopes that this customer insight will lead to a successful application to the National I-Corps program.
