Meet The Team

We are a team of vision scientists, optometrists, engineers, and programmers. Our mission is to bring recent technological advances in virtual reality and eye-tracking to optometrists, vision therapists, and other clinicians, enabling them to provide improved clinical outcomes and engaging therapeutic experiences to patients with vision disorders.

FOUNDERS

John Vito d’Antonio-Bertagnolli M.S.

Chief Executive Officer

John Vito is a virtual reality developer and biomedical engineer. His work in virtual reality has made it practical to automate optometric assessments and therapies in virtual space.

Mitchell Scheiman O.D., Ph.D., FAAO, FCOVD

Chief Medical Officer

Mitch is a true thought leader in optometry. He has coordinated multiple large randomized clinical trials, authored several textbooks, and published hundreds of articles in the field. His decades of experience in both clinical practice and research are critical to OMT’s mission of developing the next generation of optometric tools.
